It’s late at night on Christmas day and pouring rain in the Bay Area as I write this.  I’m Jewish so I don’t celebrate Christmas.  This year Blake (my girlfriend) and I went to go see Argo (which by the way was great) and then cooked dinner at home; steak, salad, mashed yams, and a glass of red wine.  My immediate family lives in LA and my grandparents and aunt live in Melbourne, Australia, somehow we make it all work.  The holidays are always about family and even though I can’t be with everyone with this year I’m thinking about them.

Blake, Athena (my dog), and I have our own little family in the Bay Area and I’m thankful for them and love them very much.

Things don’t always work out the way we want them to and we aren’t always in the position we want to be in.  But, I can assure you that if you think about it; there is always something and someone you can be thankful for and now is the time to be thinking about that.

From my little family in the Bay to yours, happy holidays.
